Available Medicare Rebates
If referred by your GP, you may be eligible for an enhanced primary health care plan (EPC) otherwise known as a GP management plan. EPC plans are essentially created for those with chronic health conditions and it’s worth checking with your GP for eligibility.
The current Medicare rebate for a dietitian appointment is $58.
Private Health Insurance
You may be eligible for a rebate from your private health fund. Check with your provider to see if you’re covered for dietitian services. With our HICAPS terminal, we can process this during your appointment and you simply pay the gap.
